Dear readers of eZee.se,
Unfortunately the global cash crunch has hit us as well and due to recent layoffs we have to more actively pursue getting back into the job market leaving us less time to work/write this section of the eZee.se site. Since from the beginning eZee.se has never taken donations (even though we have a donations link, we never ‘activated’ it) we had to run the site with our own money and time, both of which we find ourselves having less of day by day. While the creation of eZee.se was never really about
the money but what we truly believed in we have no regrets that the site has not been a financial success but we (just like you) have families that we need to contribute to and support.
Unlike the scumbags at RIAA/MPAA/MAFIAA central we make a honest living without dirty money/underhanded deals or selling our soul/parents to the highest bidder.
This section of the site took up the most time and effort to write, format, publish and promote so its but logical that we hit the pause button here, we will slowly continue to develop the other parts of the site as time permits.
Needless to say, we will actively monitor this section and it will never be taken offline or given up to the scum who spam sites. We may be down, but we are not out.. and its just a matter of time before we sort things out and come back swinging and kicking as usual.
We thank you for all the support you have given us from the very beginning and hope you will stand by us in these troubled times as well.
We hope you keep having a very nice day..till we meet again.
Regards,
- Everyone at eZee.se

Although postings on eZee.se have been a little erratic lately due to a few secret back projects we are working on, we have been quite active on forums and discussions/blogs like Jon N’s P2Pnet/TF/Ray B’s RvP/Wired/Ars etc
Just a while back we were reading a very very informative article on Ars about the upcoming Tenebaum case, (click the above link… it’s worth it and opens up in a new window) when we navigated ourselves to one of the ‘critics of the Tenenbaums case’ blog from page three of the Ars article, a blog owned by a Mr.Ben Shiffner, whose initials ironically (as you will soon see) are “BS”… so we shall henceforth refer to him as Mr.BS.

The story so far: MAFIAA sponsored music industry sues giant ISP Eircom in Ireland for the ‘infringements/downloading’ of the ISP’s clients,
ISP puts on a brave face and tells scumbags “see you in court”,
said MAFIAA scumbags have very deep pockets so Read the rest of this entry »
While the likes of the RIAA/MPAA/BPI etc (MAFIAA) will immediately go into their ’spin mode’ as they hear the word "P2P" the fact of the matter is the giants of content have spent over half a decade fighting a fight they could have never won… just like employing an army of people armed with teacups..to stop the tide coming in, whoever thought of Read the rest of this entry »
In preparing for the ISPs sending out warning emails to the masses the MPAA sponsored a website “RespectCopyrights.org”, apparently this didn’t go down too well with the pirate community and less than a month after the original website went up and was covered on sites like P2Pnet.net, some folks from the pirate community started their own website “DIS-RespectCopyrights.org” with a lot funnier content (excerpts below) as well as better graphics and better, more truthful content.

Sweden – as mentioned before, land of pretty blonde girls, beautiful nature, the pirate bay as well as centuries of Scandinavian culture.

What was it? Was it the opposition from the students in NC or the ISP for the Rhode Island College or the legal uncertainty of MediaSentry (the RIAA’s old comrade in crime) that made the RIAA turn chicken?
The RIAA have dropped their case against 7 university of Michigan students and while they must be just happy that the scum have Read the rest of this entry »

The IFPI will be only too happy to explain to you that most people will quit file sharing if ISPs would at least cooperate and send out warning emails with the threat of disconnection (i.e. "graduated response" programs). While this is true in that 70% of all surveyed said they would quit file sharing if they got a warning from their ISP, they conveniently forgot to mention that the survey was Read the rest of this entry »

Here is a very interesting points of view regarding piracy of games from a bonafide games provider, and not a small one either.
